  • Connecting with them at community events they are already attending so they DON’T need to access a front-line organization

  • Answering questions around drug use and safe use practice

  • Providing take-home information for community-based resources if/when needed

  • THN naloxone and onsite in real-time training sessions

  • Responding to overdose events onsite and around event grounds

Community-based Services

PRESENTATIONS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Options for community presentations, engagement, and training sessions on a variety of harm reduction topics, recruitment, and THN training.

COLLABORATIVE CONVERSATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS
We work closely with local agencies (non-profits, emergency departments, psychiatric and addiction services, harm reduction agencies), law enforcement (police, RCMP, security), event organizers, and peers to share the importance of harm reduction measures in all capacities. This also assists with creating safe learning environments to be and do better.

ADVOCACY
We stand in solidarity with our partner organizations in advocating for systemic and policy changes to address ongoing toxicity crises, reconciliation, and equity for all demographics and populations.
